What Is The Nerf N-Strike Elite Split Strike?

The Nerf N-Strike Elite Split Strike is a 4 shot pistol styled Nerf Gun with a rear pull to prime action, the thing about the Split Strike is not only does it have one rear primer, but two because you may need to take two separate shots at the same time in different directions, you hit the side lever on the right side to release the lock holding the Split Strike together then dual wield a single Split Strike in each hand. Fire 2 shots reprime and fire 2 more before looking for cover to reload or switching to your next Nerf Gun!

When the Split Strike is together, the option to fire separately is still available or squeeze both triggers at the same time to fire both sides of the Split Strike at the same time. Fire 2 shots then 2 more or 1 then 1 then 1 then 1, you catch my drift? You can fire 2 Nerf Darts at a time! Either together or separate in completely different directions.

How To Use:

  1. Insert Nerf Darts Into Front Barrels (4 Max)
  2. Pull Back Rear Priming Levers (Both Or One)
  3. Squeeze Trigger To Fire 1 Nerf Dart (Both Triggers For 2 Nerf Darts)
  4. Repeat 1-3

Splitting:

  1. Flip / hold right side release lever
  2. Separate Split Strike (Pull Apart)
  3. Find Multiple Targets To Take Out

Pros Vs Cons

Pros And Cons On A Nerf Gun

Pros:

  • Option: Fire Together OR Separate
  • Easy To Split
  • Unique Design
  • Full Grip When Split

Cons:

  • Low Ammo Capacity
  • Repriming When Split

The Nerf N-Strike Elite Split Strike is pretty unique for a few reasons like the option to fire both sides of the Split Strike either when they are together or when they are apart, you also have the option to fire both sides of the Split Strike separately fire one side and reprime and fire again then do the same with the other side, it’s up to the user!

When you are ready to split the Split Strike, it is as simple as flipping the side switch and pulling the two sides apart, both sides have grooved grips on the inside where the two sides interlock but they work as fully functional grips and not just half a grip. So it’s up to the user how they want to fire, it’s easy to fire together or split apart to dual wield in each hand.

Now when you are someone who likes to destroy and make sure every target is down, well The Split Strike only has a 4 Nerf Dart Ammo Capacity, and when you have the Split Strike apart, you may find it hard to reprime unless you get really good at cross priming, like making an “X” with your arms when repriming, but that is what practice is for.

Who Is The Nerf N-Strike Elite Split Strike For?

Being sometimes able to only fire in only one direction… Just Sucks! So the fix for that is dual wielding, I have talked about dual wielding other Nerf Guns but with those, you need to purchase two separate Nerf Guns, sooo, if you are someone who is interested in dual wielding so you can fire in two different directions, take out a target in front of you and one 90 degrees to your left, or if you want to fire 2 Nerf Darts at one target, just keep your Split Strike together and pull the trigger on both sides, reprime and do it again.

Who is The Nerf N-Strike Elite Split Strike For?! The Split Strike is for anyone who wants to have the option to fire a single Nerf Gun or split their Nerf Gun to have 2 Nerf Guns to fire in each hand. If you are really liking the idea of dual wielding, my favorite dual wield is 2 Hammershots, but that is off topic…

If you are someone looking to get an edge on your enemy with a Nerf Gun that splits in half to give you two Separate Nerf Guns, hey maybe your teammate just lost their Nerf Gun in the battle zone, throw them half your Split Strike and go take out the rest of the competition…

The Nerf War Zone is a place where you always want to have a secondary Nerf Gun, one that separates into 2 Nerf Guns is even better! Be never unprepared and always have lots of ammo handy or just be a really good scavenger!

Is The Nerf N-Strike Elite Split Strike Worth The Price?

Is it Worth It?

Before I ever make my final purchase, there is always this main question…

The Nerf N-Strike Elite Split Strike is a Nerf Gun that doubles as two! Depending on how fast you can reload and how well you can fire accurately with both hands at the same time, which both can be improved with practice, well if you want to get better at dual wielding while always having the option to put your Split Strike back together and double your chances of hitting your single target, then The Split Strike sounds like it may be perfect and the price doesn’t matter! Just kidding, the price always matters…

When you are sure that dual wielding practice is what you want while only having to buy one Nerf Gun, then The Split Strike is perfect! Easy to load, Easy To Prime, Easy To Split Apart And Easy To Fire!

Yes, I Say The Nerf N-Strike Elite Split Strike Is Worth The Price!

My Final Opinion Of The Nerf N-Strike Elite Split Strike

When one Nerf Gun is enough but sometimes you just want to have one for each hand, well that exactly what you get with The Nerf Split Strike. Easy To separate with the side switch and easy to put back together, just make sure you line up the notches and don’t shove anything if it doesn’t go together, I promise if it doesn’t go together and you make it go together.. Pretty soon, it’s not going to go together at all…

My final opinion of The Nerf N-Strike Elite Split Strike, is this is an awesome Nerf Gun to have when you are in a situation where you can’t shoot and quickly turn to shoot your enemy at your side, instead, split The Split Strike and take a shot at both targets at the same time and take them both out, while you walk away with a smirk on your face!

The low ammo capacity of The Split Strike kind of makes me sad but the fact you can split and fire or keep The Split Strike together and fire either 2 Nerf Darts at a time with the pull of both triggers or fire 1 at a time with one trigger, you can feel a difference in the triggers, so it’s up to you how you want to shoot!

When it comes to dual wielding, I like The Zombie Strike Hammershot for it’s hammer action that is much easier to deal with while dual wielding compared to rear action pull priming, but as long as you can get your shots off and hit your target where you want, maybe even consider upgrading to Nerf AccuStrike Darts that spin when you fire them through the air for better accuracy, you will be just fine!

  1. The splitstrike has two pieces under the grip which you can use to prime the blaster easier.
