What Is The Nerf N-Strike Elite Rhino-Fire Blaster?

The Nerf N-Strike Elite Rhino-Fire Blaster is an amazing high powered turret styled Nerf Gun that allows you to pick off your targets with automatic ease.

The Nerf N-Strike Elite Rhino-Fire Blaster has two drums that each hold 25 Nerf darts, that is 50 total! No matter your target, you are guaranteed to hit your target with at least one shot, if not more. Once you get locked onto your target, missing is quite hard, just hold down the back trigger and destroy everything that comes into sight!

The Nerf N-Strike Elite Rhino-Fire Blaster is one of the biggest and most powerful Nerf Guns available. It will be up to your skills, whether or not you use the power properly!

How To Use:

  1. Remove Battery Cover
  2. Insert 6 D Batteries / Close
  3. Load 25 Nerf Darts Into Each Drum (50 Nerf Darts)
  4. Insert 1 Drum On Both Sides Of The Rhino-Fire
  5. Find Your Target That Comes Into Your Line Of Fire
  6. Hold Down The Rear Trigger To Fire (Full Auto)
  7. Repeat 5-6 Until Targets Are Eliminated Or Reload Is Required

*Replace Batteries When Lack Of Power Is First Noticed, For Best Performance

Pros Vs Cons

  • High Fire Power
  • 50 Darts Total
  • Annihilates Everything

  • Not The Most Portable
  • Jamming Issues
  • 6 D Batteries

The Nerf N-Strike Elite Rhino-Fire Blaster gives you a huge edge on anyone who decides to hang out in the open, you get a total of 50 darts to shoot at your target and chances are, anything in your path will be annihilated. Not only are they sitting ducks when you have your turret camp set up, they are going to never want to be caught in the open again after the destruction you show them!

Now The Nerf N-Strike Elite Rhino-Fire Blaster is a turret styled Nerf Gun, so it is meant to be stationary, so if you choose this, make sure you can have cover and a clear shot of the enemy! With 50 total darts, the chances for jams go up significantly… Proper, Official Nerf Darts should not cause issues.

The last con is the fact it takes 6 D batteries, some of the heaviest batteries you can put in a toy, but for the power and high speed firing you get from the batteries.

  1. Man, this looks fun! At our house, we often have Nerf Gun wars and I love to be able to outgun my rather competitive wife. I may just have to order one of these. Is there anything like a Nerf gatling gun available? This looks close. Thanks for being so thorough in your review of it!

    1. Hey Brandon! Nerf Wars are so fun! The Nerf N-Strike Elite Rhino-Fire Blaster is the way to go if you want to out gun your wife, or annihilate her!

The Rhino-Fire is more of a stationary Nerf Gun to take out anything in your way. However, there is the Nerf Zombie Strike Doominator Blaster, that is similar but you are able to run around with it and you will outgun anyone with one of those too!

      Thanks for the comment!

    1. Hi Jack, The Nerf Elite Rhino Fire has a tripod that folds up and detaches, you have the option to use the tripod for steady aiming or fold it up or just take it off and run into battle firing 50 Nerf Darts at whoever is unfortunate enough to be on the receiving end! Ehh, who am I kidding, Blow Them Away And Dont Feel Bad! … Unless they are ready for a battle, then you better be too! 😉

      Thanks for the comment Jack,

  2. My son’s Nerf Elite Rhino Fire Blaster did not work out of the box. We have narrowed it down to the trigger. The motors work when you activate them with the covers off but installed you have to push so hard on the trigger paddles that the piece the paddles push (straight piece with triangle – flips switch for motor) always jumps over its contact point with the paddles. Do you know where we can buy a different trigger for this? Any suggestions? Unfortunately we’re past the return period. Thanks, Rich

    1. Hey Rich, I am sorry you had this issue with your son’s Rhino-Fire. I did a little research for you into the Nerf Rhino-Fire trigger. I found a couple videos that disassemble the Rhino-Fire, and a site that talks about a 3D printed version of a new Rhino-Fire trigger. Perhaps a more detailed search for, 3D printed Rhino-Fire triggers, will be able to help your dilemma.

There is a comment in the second video talking about bypassing the switch all together and using a new type of connection for firing.

I’m sorry I couldn’t be more helpful, but I am hoping you will be able to get this problem figured out. Rhino-Fires are awesome.

Let me know if there is anything else I can help with,
