The Nerf N-Strike Mega TwinShock is one of the best pump action, shotgun styled Nerf Guns you can get. You load 10 Nerf Mega Darts into the front barrels then pump and fire, either 2 Nerf Mega Darts at once or one at a time.

The Nerf N-Strike Mega TwinShock is right up there at the top of the Nerf Mega Series, right next to The Mega Mastodon, what I like differently about The TwinShock is the pump action, compared to the Mastodon full auto.
The Nerf N-Strike Mega TwinShock gives you 10 Nerf Mega Darts that fit any Nerf Gun from The Nerf Mega Series, but not only can you fire 10 Nerf Mega darts, you can choose how to fire them, either one at a time or two at a time. All you do is pump, and pull the trigger, either half-way or full!
The Nerf N-Strike Mega TwinShock is easily one of the best Nerf Guns to have for intimidation and shotgun styled Nerf War destroying! I really think The Nerf N-Strike Mega TwinShock is worth the price!
My Final Opinion Of The Nerf N-Strike Mega TwinShock
The Nerf Mega Series is one of my favorites, I mean all the Nerf Darts are much bigger and they whistle when you fire them through the air. These Nerf Mega Darts fire further than traditional and high impact rounds, and with The TwinShock you have the option to fire however you want, 1 at a time or 2.
When it comes to The Nerf N-Strike Mega TwinShock, my final opinion is that this is one of the best pump action Nerf Guns you can get, most pump actions are not as smooth and the grip is horizontal instead of vertical. With 3 different firing options, that really just lets you choose, destroy or eliminate, either way works! When you hold the trigger and go slamfire, you only have the option to fire both Nerf Mega Darts, so slam and destroy!

I have 4 children, all boys and there’s not a day goes by that I don’t get hit in the face by a Nerf dart!
They always want the newest nerf gun out but I’m not sure if they know about the nerf N strike mega twinshock….thank God!! That thing looks lethal. Wouldn’t it be great if they invented a nerf gun that had the darts attached to string as I’m fed up of finding them all around the house.
It sounds like your boys really love Nerf, and it really sounds like your need a Nerf Gun of your own to defend yourself with. Since they haven’t heard of The Nerf Mega TwinShock yet, get yourself one and watch their faces when all of a sudden, Dad is really in charge!
Strings would be a nice attachment for clean up, or you can force them to clean up when you have The TwinShock in your hands!!!!!

My boys are more into their swords – and I’m not talking about that weak foam crap. They’re into the hyper-realistic polypropene stuff that’s indestructible and hurts like hell when you hit someone with it!
That said, they also love their Nerf guns for longer range carnage. There are five or six in our current armory – a couple of basic models, a revolver, couple of larger pump-actions, and a four-foot Nerf sniper rifle!
This Mega TwinShock looks pretty awesome. I remember seeing it being tested out on some YouTube channel and it looked great then too.
If and when I buy it, maybe I should just keep it for myself to lay down the family law. I mean, it’s a big weapon for a big daddy!
Hey Al, your boys sounds pretty tough, hitting each other with indestructible swords! I like to stick with Nerf Guns, where it sounds like you have a pretty good start to your arsenal. The TwinShock is huge and would be a great way for you to show that you’re the boss. I always recommend parents get into Nerf and I think they should always have the larger Nerf Gun!!!
