What Is The Nerf Zombie Strike SlingFire Blaster?
When it comes to the ease of taking out Zombies with the awesome feel of the old school bottom lever action, The Nerf Zombie Strike SlingFire Blaster is the Nerf Gun for the job! The entire Nerf Zombie Strike Series is awesome and most come with features found in no other Nerf Gun Series.
The Nerf Zombie Strike SlingFire Blaster makes you feel like you just found an old lever action Rifle, the lever action makes it very easy to swing the lever and fire, and fire on the run, you never know when you will have a whole hoard chasing you! If you do find a hoard coming for you, head for higher ground while unloading on them on the way.
The Nerf Zombie Strike SlingFire Blaster only holds a magazine of 6 Nerf Zombie Strike Darts so you better have good aim, more ammo, or a good secondary Nerf Gun for any close situations. You also have the option of upgrading your Nerf Magazine for more ammo!
One last thing about The Nerf Zombie Strike SlingFire Blaster, it comes with a tactical rail for you to add Nerf Gun accessories to, like a scope, making Zombie headshots a breeze.
How To Use:
- Load 6 Nerf Darts Into The Magazine
- Insert Magazine Into The SlingFire
- Use The Bottom Lever Action To Prime
- Aim At Your Target (Zombie Heads)
- Pull The Trigger To Fire 1 Nerf Dart
- Repeat 3-5 Until Reload Required
Pros Vs Cons
Pros:
- Lever Action
- Tactical Rail
- Realist Feel
- Awesome Design
Cons:
- Only 6 Nerf Darts
- Breakable Lever
The Nerf Zombie Strike SlingFire Blaster is one of the few Nerf Guns with a lever action loading mechanism, making it quite unique. The tactical rail makes it very easy to add some more features, maybe a scope to try to fire further away, maybe add Nerf AccuStrike Darts to add more straight shots while your scope gives you a better view?
I really like the realist feel of the SlingFire, you feel like you actually have an old lever action rifle, great for role-play! The whole Nerf Zombie Strike Series has a sweet design, perfect for Zombie demolition!
The Nerf Zombie Strike SlingFire Blaster also has some flaws, the major one is the breakable lever, just find the limits of the full prime and don’t throw it around to make sure your SlingFire will last longer. Now, the stock magazine of The Nerf Zombie Strike SlingFire Blaster, only holds 6 Nerf Darts, but you can upgrade to a larger drum magazine for more ammo! You can never have too much ammo!
Who Is The Nerf Zombie Strike SlingFire Blaster For?
A majority of Nerf Guns are rated for ages 8+ and that includes The Nerf Zombie Strike Series, however, I believe with proper safety and accurate shooting, anyone should be able to have Nerf Gun Fun! There is never too old to have Nerf Gun Fun either. The whole family should get in on Nerf Gun Fun!
If you are looking to pick off Zombies, then that is exactly what The Nerf Zombie Strike SlingFire Blaster is for! With the original magazine, you can pick off 6 Zombies at a time, or you can upgrade to a larger drum to take out the whole hoard!
If you are a competitive Nerf Warrior that is looking to change up their arsenal, then I would suggest adding The Nerf Zombie Strike SlingFire Blaster. I wouldn’t suggest running into battle with the stock magazine with only 6 Nerf Darts, but upgrading to a drum that holds many more Nerf Darts (Like A 25 Nerf Dart Drum), that will help you take over the Nerf War Zone!
Is The Nerf Zombie Strike SlingFire Blaster Worth The Price?
There Is One Question I Always Have To Ask Myself Before A Purchase…
I am fairly satisfied with the overall price of most Nerf Guns, most of the time you get what you pay for. If a Nerf Gun has more ammo capacity, then it will need to come with more ammo, making the price slightly higher, but still worth it because you need the ammo! Size and priming operation is another big price key, The Lever Priming is pretty unique to The SlingFire.
The Nerf Zombie Strike SlingFire Blaster comes with a magazine that holds 6 Nerf Darts, but you have the option to upgrade to a Nerf Drum that will hold more Nerf Darts, giving you even more of an edge on your enemy! Not only the option to upgrade your magazine, but with the tactical rail on the top, you have the option for a few more awesome accessories to give you an edge!
Yes, I think The Nerf Zombie Strike SlingFire Blaster Is Worth The Price!
My Final Opinion Of The Nerf Zombie Strike SlingFire Blaster
Nerf Guns are awesome, they are fun for all ages, and they can’t really do any significant damage. Some people need to have more fun in their lives and what is more fun than getting the whole family, all your friends, anyone, anywhere, to have a Nerf War!
Alright, so my final opinion of The Nerf Zombie Strike SlingFire Blaster is this has a bunch of upgrades that many Nerf Guns just can’t use because of the lack of tactical rail. Aside from the tactical rail uniqueness, this has a lever action that only a few Nerf Guns have, making that an even more unique feature than the tactical rail! Finally, I really like the design that makes you feel like you just found an old lever action rifle and now you have to use it to defend yourself from Zombies!

My son loves nerf guns! We were researching different guns to add to his collection and came across your review. Love how simply you made it for my son to understand the product. How fast does it turn over for rapid fire? That is what he is always looking for. Thanks for your review.
I’m glad I was able to help your son understand different Nerf Guns on his search for more Nerf Guns to add to his arsenal! The Nerf Zombie Strike SlingFire Blaster does not do rapid fire, unless you can flip the lever fast enough. You need to flip the lever every time to fire another Nerf Dart.
If your son likes this Nerf Gun, I suggest getting him some extra Zombie Strike Nerf Darts and consider getting a Nerf Dart Drum, that will fit into this, that will give him more chances to fire at his targets!
Thanks,
Kenny
Man, I just love these things, we have the safety glasses and as a parent, that is all I worry about with a Nerf Gun! My girls have quite an assortment of Nerf Guns to play with, but I am always having to buy ammo! My favourite is the suction cup tip darts! I don’t like to run around much any more so target practice in my living room is as far as I go with them, I also like to shoot my cat with them! Oh ok I actually like to shoot everyone in the house with it but that is fun with a Nerf Gun isn’t it?
Nerf Guns are exciting toys for everyone. I am not a parent yet, but I can see your fear of putting an eye out! It really depends on the distance and type of Nerf Gun. With The Zombie Strike SlingFire Blaster, the Green Nerf Zombie Strike Darts are my favorite because they last longer, but like all Nerf Guns, they aren’t intended to hurt anyone, the safety glasses are nice for extra safety.
The Nerf Zombie Strike SlingFire Blaster is a great Nerf Gun to use for target practice and if you upgrade to a larger drum, you can have much more ammo before reloading!
Thanks,
Kenny
