What Is The Nerf N-Strike Elite Stryfe Blaster?

When you choose a Nerf Gun from The Elite Series, you are going to go in, get the mission done, and get out! Quickly and Efficiently!

The Nerf N-Strike Elite Stryfe Blaster is an automatic pistol styled Nerf Gun that comes with a 6 Nerf Dart Magazine, 6 Nerf Darts, and the Stryfe itself. With this Nerf Gun, all you do is pull the bottom trigger to warm up your motor, then you fire 1 Nerf Dart with each pull of firing trigger.

Add on attachments to make The Stryfe ready for any mission!

With all automatic Nerf Guns, the faster you fire, the less range you will get out, you must let the motor fully warm up before every new shot, for maximum range!

How To Use:

  1. Remove Battery Cover
  2. Insert 4 AA Batteries / Close
  3. Load 6 Nerf Darts Into The Magazine
  4. Find And Aim At The Target You Want Gone
  5. Hold Down The Bottom Trigger To Warm Up The Motor
  6. Pull The Trigger To Fire One Nerf Dart At A Time With Each Pull
  7. Repeat 4-6 Until Reload Required

*Replace Batteries When You Can Notice Lesser Motorized Firing Power

Pros Vs Cons

Pros And Cons On A Nerf Gun

Pros:

  • Motorized Firing
  • Easy Release Magazine
  • Jam Door
  • Tactical Rail

Cons:

  • 4 AA’s
  • Jamming Issues

The Nerf N-Strike Elite Stryfe Blaster is motorized that allows you to fire one Nerf Dart with each pull of the firing trigger after being warmed up, allow full motor warm up before every shot, for maximum distance! When you need to release the 6 Nerf Dart Magazine, you simply hit the release button with either your middle finger on your firing hand, or with your free hand. When you want to add attachments, The Stryfe has 2 tactical rails, one on top and one in the front, also available are barrel attachments!

The Stryfe is automatic so it takes batteries, 4 AAs are not too bad, compared to some Nerf Guns with 4 D Batteries! The Stryfe also has jamming issues when you don’t allow proper rev up every shot, that is also the main reason of the Jam Door, flip it open and remove the jammed Nerf Dart! The Stryfe will not fire with The Jam Door Open. Use of proper Nerf Darts reduce the chance of jamming.

Who Is The Nerf N-Strike Elite Stryfe Blaster For?

The Elite Nerf Gun Series is rated for ages 8+, however with proper safety and accuracy training, I think everyone should be allowed to have Nerf Gun Fun!

If you have never had a Nerf Gun, The Nerf N-Strike Elite Stryfe is a great starter Nerf Gun. Not only is The Stryfe automatic, but it makes for a great defensive Nerf Gun, say from the kids, or maybe even the grand kids?

I always recommend Nerf Guns to all ages because there is no age limit to when you have to stop having fun. Nerf Gun Fun For All! Never grow up!

If you are the competitive Nerf Warrior that wants to go into Nerf War with all the right equipment, The Nerf Elite Stryfe is a great secondary Nerf Gun, that can be upgraded with attachments to be an even better secondary Nerf Gun, or a decent primary Nerf Gun. You only have 6 shots, make them count, or upgrade your magazine!

Is The Nerf N-Strike Elite Stryfe Blaster Worth The Price?

Before I Make Any Purchase, I Always Have To Ask…
Is it Worth It?

The Nerf N-Strike Elite Stryfe Blaster is a pistol styled Nerf Gun that allows attachments on both the top, for an extra sight option, and bottom for whatever attachment you choose that will help you get an edge on your enemy! Not only that but the motorized firing of the Stryfe is very easy, just hold the motor trigger, then pull the firing trigger to fire one Nerf Dart at a time!

With The Stryfe, you get many options and I love it when you have options, it just adds to the ways you can win! You can upgrade your magazine, add a barrel attachment, and a stock, then you are ready for a battle!

Yes, I Think The Nerf N-Strike Elite Blaster is worth the price!

My Final Opinion Of The Nerf N-Strike Elite Stryfe Blaster

The Nerf Elite Series is all about getting the job done as quickly and easy as possible. When you take The Nerf N-Strike Elite Stryfe Blaster on a mission with you, you better add some attachments to make the job easy. Unless you are just that good, and you don’t need attachments, you have 6 Nerf Darts to get the job done, if you are good, that’s all you need!

My final opinion of The Nerf N-Strike Elite Stryfe Blaster is this is a pretty useful Nerf Gun for many situations. When you need attachments, there is a spot for a scope, a stock, barrel attachment, and anything you can fit on the bottom tactical rail. I do think The Stryfe needs more ammo, but you can upgrade to a larger Nerf Clip if you agree!

For the Nerf Collectors, The Nerf N-Strike Elite Stryfe Blaster is a must have, but otherwise, you might want to check out some of my other Nerf Gun Reviews here at NerfGunRUs.com.

  1. Thanks for the review. I was wondering why it has only got 6 Nerf Darts and I guess it was mainly an elite series. As an elite, I bet you only needed a few darts to get the job done and you do it quickly as written. The rating and the review given here did encourage me to put this in my shopping list. Well written!

    1. When you decide to go with a Nerf N-Strike Elite Stryfe, you have the option to trade out the 6 Nerf Dart magazine for a larger one, you just need to upgrade or use one from a larger Nerf Gun. The Nerf Elite should only need a few shots to get in and get out, but some need to work their way up to Nerf Elite still! 😉

      Thanks for the comment!

  2. I’ve loved these things since I was a kid they seem to keep coming out with bigger and better ones. I’m some what of a collector nowadays anyway. I might as well add this one to the arsenal.

    Great review!

    1. Nerf Guns are awesome, The Nerf Elite Stryfe is no different, with the option to unload your 6 Nerf Dart clip in just seconds or upgrade to a larger magazine for more carnage, I love this little pistol styled Nerf Gun. Great addition to any Nerf Arsenal!

      Happy Collecting!

  3. Nice!

Question though; I found that it can be incredibly difficult to be stealthy when using a Nerf Gun like this. Obviously if you’re doing covert ops it might be better to just pick a different Nerf Gun, but I wondered if you know some hacks to quiet down that motor…

This is another classic Nerf Gun, for sure. I have a lot of buddies that would modify the heck of some of these.

    1. Hey Jordan, when it comes to being covert and stealthy, that ultimately depends on your overall mission, if you are trying to only eliminate those who need to be eliminated, I would suggest a different more stealth mode Nerf Gun, maybe something like The Nerf Mega Thunder Bow? However, if your mission is to sneak in and eliminate everything in sight, then once you are in, it doesn’t matter how much noise you make! HA

First, I would suggest upgrading your magazine to hold more Nerf Darts, then if you need to use The Stryfe, cover it with a blanket or something else to muffle the motor noise. Otherwise, be quiet on the way in and eliminate everyone in sight to find what you are looking for!

Make sure you get some pics of your buddies modifications and send them to my email in the contact area! Maybe I will feature them in a post here at NerfGunRUs.com! 🙂

  4. I use a 12 dart clip with the original 6 dart clip in an ecs-10 stock and the red dot scope and the suppression barrel from the stealthy ops upgrade kit but as you say the motor is quite loud and it does have jamming problems – about once per 12 clip.

    1. Hey Jack, sounds like you are a big fan of the Nerf Elite Stryfe, not a bad choice if I say so myself! Some nice upgrades and you know your ammo and jam rate, awesome! A loud motor just means you need to take your targets out quicker! 😉

Awesome Stryfe equipment! Never Give Up!
