What Is The Nerf Zombie Strike Hammershot Blaster?
The Nerf Zombie Strike Hammershot Blaster is a Zombie defense, hammer action pistol styled Nerf Gun. I’m a pretty big fan of The Nerf Zombie Strike Series and especially The Nerf Zombie Strike Hammershot, well more like 2 Hammershots, one in each hand!
The Nerf Zombie Strike Hammershot Blaster holds five Nerf Darts and has a revolving drum that makes it easy to aim, draw back the hammer and squeeze the trigger to fire at your target. If your target is a Zombie, make sure to aim for the head! Want to look even cooler and have more ammo? Add a second Hammershot to your arsenal, dual wield and take out anything, 2 head shots at once, will leave you with a reputation no one will believe! You will be a legend!
The Nerf Zombie Strike Series is all about eliminating Zombies, when you can add the accuracy of The Nerf AccuStrike Series, with Nerf AccuStrike Darts, every shot can be a headshot!
How To Use:
- Insert 5 Nerf Darts Into The Rotating Barrel
- Draw Back The Hammer Of The Hammershot
- Aim At Your Target (Aim For A Zombie’s Head)
- Squeeze The Trigger To Fire 1 Nerf Dart
- Repeat 2-4 Until Reload Is Required

The Nerf Zombie Strike Hammershot Blaster is a Nerf Gun with an awesome deign that is pretty cool to look at. What makes The Hammershot even more awesome, is the ability to conceal it while sneaking around looking to find your perfect shot, when you find you shot, just simply draw back the hammer and pull the trigger to fire 1 Nerf Dart, repeat 5 times in a single drum.
The Nerf Zombie Strike Hammershot Blaster does only have 5 darts to fire but since you can fire them pretty fast and accurately (Especially with Nerf AccuStrike Darts), it kind of makes up for itself, if you don’t agree, add a second Hammershot to the mix, one in each hand! This is a pistol styled Nerf Gun so don’t plan to shoot too far, keep your plan of attack close to midrange for best accuracy results!

The Nerf Zombie Strike Hammershot Blaster is a revolver styled Nerf Gun and me personally, I prefer the revolvers with a hammer action compared to a pump action or pull back. The hammer makes it way easier to fire with just one hand, all five darts. Get a second Hammershot and fire one in each hand!
When you add up the firepower, the ease of one handed firing, the simplicity, and the awesome design, I can not say anything but how much I agree, that the Hammershot Is Worth The Price!
I have found the Hammershot to be the perfect dual wield Nerf Gun, 10 Nerf Darts can eliminate a whole lot of things!
My Final Opinion Of The Nerf Zombie Strike Hammershot Blaster
My Final Opinion of The Nerf Zombie Strike Hammershot Blaster is it has a great look and awesome firepower. I am a fan of adding Nerf AccuStrike Darts to your traditional styled Nerf Dart firing Nerf Guns for increased accuracy, The Hammershot plus accuracy is scary!
I prefer the revolver hammer style of The Nerf Zombie Strike Hammershot Blaster compared to others you have to pull back the entire top pump to fire. I find them easier to fire faster and much easier to be sneaky.
I love The Hammershot, when you want to sit in a chair and keep the kids in check, The Hammershot works great!
When you want to annoy your parents that didn’t consider buying themselves a Nerf Gun to defend themselves with, fire the Hammershot at them! Make them buy one for themselves so the who family can have Nerf Gun Fun!
When you want to take over the office, sneak in a Hammershot and start taking over. If there are bigger Nerf Guns around, make sure you bring a second Hammershot and practice your dual wielding shooting!

Hey Kenny, my son who’s 12 has something like 10-12 Nerf Guns of all sizes. He goes in and out with playing with them, sometimes he’s into it, then sometimes he’s on Xbox, typical for his age. The Nerf Zombie Strike Hammershot looks cool, even if just for me, my son likes the long Nerf guns that are heavy with magazines although we have some small ones like the Hammershot. I am sure he already knows about this, but I’ll show him your review and see what he says. I like it myself! Thanks for sharing!
Hey Eric! The Nerf Zombie Strike Hammershot is one of my more favorite Nerf Guns, I really like the hammer style this one has vs the pump that you have to pull all the way back. This one is also easy to fire one handed! You do need to defend yourself and you are liking the Hammershot, just because your son has all the Big Nerf Guns, doesn’t mean you cant start your own arsenal! 🙂

As a BIG fan of Nerf, I’m loving this Zombie Strike Hammershot Blaster!
I think it’s cool that it has a rotating drum with 5 darts because it’s more fun when you can take out those zombies with rapid fire action. 😉
However, what would be more awesome is if the gun came with one HUGE drum that holds 100 darts. But then again, the gun would need to be as big as a rocket launcher (almost).
But as a Nerf gun owner myself (even if I am 36 years young), the Zombie blaster is certainly another awesome gun I’d like to own for having a real gun battle with my younger bros.

Hey Neil! I say it in all my reviews, Nerf Guns are for all ages! I do agree with you 100% on having The Zombie Strike Hammershot Blaster come with a 100 darts but yes that would be huge! There is the Rhino-Fire that hold two 25 dart drums. It is awesome! Check my review out on that one too!

I have had a Nerf Battle with my friends using the Nerf Hammershot and I won using only that! (and my nerf modulus). The gun was very useful but, I would suggest maybe more darts or like a clip for the Hammershot.
Hey Eric, keep up the Nerf Battles, you will be a Nerf Combat Veteran eventually. The way I like to combat the lack of ammo on the Hammershot is using two at once. Duel wielding Hammershots gives you 10 Nerf Darts to fire at your target. Trust me, the intimidation factor of two Hammershots is pretty good! 😉
